Tina Caspari is a passionate European woman, even more as her ancestors are Polish, Czech, Sweden, Austrian and Jewish people – and one thing unites them all: Their love for horses. And Tina Caspari took the full heritage of that. She was born on a journey in Berlin on a 25th January. She doesn’t like to speak about her age, but she was soon old enough to understand that war and flight are the most terrible things that can happen to human beings.

Tina Caspari grew up on the countryside, in a real extended family with 7 siblings, uncles and aunts – for dinner they met with 20 persons. They had many many animals on their big estate. And today, Tina Caspari again lives at the countryside, near Munich, in the forest at the Wörthsee. She lives there with her daughter, 2 horses, 2 dogs and 3 cats.

Before writing children books, she was an actor, script writer and translator.

She loves travelling, reading, theatre, music, ballet, the silence, and of course, animals. She stands up for human and animal rights and has a godchild in Indian and one in Uganda. Tina Caspari is married and has 2 children, a boy, who is already grown-up and who has gone to discover Australia, and a daughter who is a passionate rider as Tina Caspari was in former days.

To her, the most important personal attitudes are: Tolerance, patience and self-discipline. Tina Caspari is believing and she is convinced that church can be different. Sometimes she tries to demonstrate this – together with some young people who have the same opinion.
