Rebecca Hohlbein, daughter of Germany’s most popular fantasy author Wolfgang Hohlbein, is in 1978 the first-born child of a family with many children. She was born in Neuss, near Dusseldorf, and she has four younger brothers.
After she had published some short stories and children books pseudonymous, her first novel Indras Traum was published at Egmont VGS. Soon after, Thans Geheimnis and Laurins Schatten followed. The writer and mother of 2 children lives in Neuss, together with 3 cats, 2 tortoises and a green iguana in the neighbourhood of her parents.
In Indras Traum Rebecca Hohlbein narrates the adventures of a girl whose world is being overthrown by psychic powers. It is the first volume of a series for teenage readers, consisting of a succesfull mixture of fantasy and mystery elements. She also has written 2 historical novels for Austrian publisher Ueberreuter.
