EGMONT Verlagsgesellschaften, a Cologne based bookpublisher, consists of 5 imprints: VGS, LYX, SchneiderBuch, Ehapa Comic Collection and Egmont Manga & Anime. Each imprint stands for an individual program and together they offer lively entertainment and fun, but also launch an ambitious program for all age groups. VGS offers a range of popular non-fiction books as well as media-related guide- and cookbooks. Founded in 2007 the label LYX quickly advanced to one of Germany's most successfull publishers of romantic fantasy novels. Next to vampire sagas and heroic fantasy the new genre "romantic thrill" already became a well established part of the program. SchneiderBuch looks back on more than 90 years of publishing popular and widely loved children and teenage books. Ehapa Comic Collection launches graphic novel classics and also specializes in original German graphic novels and event-graphic novels. As one of the biggestes Manga and Manhwa (of Asian origin) publishers of the world, Egmont Manga & Anime also features German illustrators (Mangas made in Germany).
